Building Data-Driven Policies: Towards Efficieny in Accelerating Development in Musi Banyuasin Regency

Abstract
The implementation of development cannot be separated from data in carrying out regional planning and development limitations in the availability of data have implications for the inefficiency and inaccuracy of development targets that have been carried out so far. This study aims to 1) examine the development and management of integrated data-based policies among each regional apparatus organization in Musi Banyuasin Regency; 2) develop a scenario for the implementation of data governance institutions in Musi Banyuasin Regency. The method in this study is a qualitative description study method from the literature related to policies and regulations that have been issued. The results of this study indicate that data management carried out in the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government is technically not yet integrated, synchronized, and shared in the decision-making process in every program carried out.
